for the visit of Termes castle :

The visit of the castle of Termes is made from the village : parking lots were created in both entrances. Thank you for respecting the planned car parks: a truck or a bus would be blocked otherwise!

The access and the visit of the rests of the castle are made by foot, and in open air. Thus, take walking-shoes and adapted clothes for the conditions (K-way, cap or hat, comfortable shoes...). From the reception, 15 minutes of walking without difficulties are necessary to reach the castle. The access with a stroller is possible up to the foot of the castle, but not inside.

Our hours of opening and closure concern especially the church of the village and the reception (Film + Exhibition). The come back of the castle remains possible after the schedule of closure, but then the access to these elements is not possible anymore.

Please respect the accesses of the monument, do not exceed the limits of protection and do not climb on walls, low walls and ramparts. We ask you to take care of your children : inside the ruins, they should not run and they should not be left without surveillance. In case of thunderstorm, it's better to come down again under cover.  

The castle is still the object, in certain periods, of archaeological excavations and works of consolidation/valorisation/clearing. We apologize for possible gene caused, and ask you to be attentive to the possible indications.
